Klear Games is an independent studio founded in 2001 by four friends intent
on applying their diverse and significant professional abilities towards their
passion for electronic gaming. Originally focused on strategy games for the
PC, Klear's initial game title, "Reiner Knizia's Samurai," an adaptation of
a strategic board game, was the recipient of the 2003 Independent Games Festival
award for Technical Excellence.
In 2003, Klear migrated into the mobile space, rapidly evolving both BREW and
J2ME development capabilities, and has worked on several published and unpublished
titles for Fox™, DC Comics™ and Looney Tunes™ brands.
Klear has recently completed another multiplayer community-oriented PC game
for the AIM™ division of AOL™ based on a 2005 movie pending release.
The game features innovative incorporation of chat-based and interface-based
game play.
Currently, Klear has nine full-time employees and contractors and is growing
steadily to handle increased project complexity and volume. Klear is currently
wholly focused on developing premier content for the rapidly evolving mobile
gaming space.
