Game Screens - Game Board

<- Previous Screen | Next Screen ->

This screen is the main interface for game play, on which players select and place tiles on the game board during their turns.  In addition to showing player’s hands of playable tiles and the current game board, the screen shows the current status of the game including the current player and information regarding the last or current turn.

When multiple human players are competing locally on the same computer, a privacy screen will hide this screen in between turns so that players will not be able to see each other’s hands.

Playable Tiles

This is your hand of playable tiles.  During your turn, tiles that can played enabled, while those that cannot be played are disabled (grayed out).  Clicking on a tile will select it, and once selected, you can drag it from hand to the board area to place it (by clicking again).  If you wish to return a tile to your hand without placing it on the board, position the tile above the playable tiles area and click to return it.

End Turn

When you have played one or more tiles on your turn, clicking “End Turn” completes your turn and begins the next players turn.

Go To Declaration

If all pieces have been captured, then no more tiles can be played and the game will declare a winner.  Clicking “Go To Declaration” takes you to the winner declaration screens to see the outcome of the contest.

Turn Status

The Turn Status area displays the result of the last or current turn based upon player activity.  The tiles and pieces referenced in the turn status text will be highlighted in the appropriate color on the game board.
